Why I Built
Go Deeper.sg

Most goodbyes are surface-level. Most conversations stay safe. I wanted to change that.

I’ve always felt there's a strange gap in how we relate to each other. We can work beside someone for years, share meals, and celebrate milestones, yet still leave without ever really seeing them. Or being seen ourselves.

The Mirror Collection began because of a personal goodbye. When I was leaving my role at Google, I realized I didn't want another generic farewell card. I wanted to give the people I cared about a reason to pause. I wanted them to feel genuinely known.

I started by designing just one card, then another. I chose words like Abundant, Anchored, and Grounding because these were qualities I saw in my colleagues that they often didn't recognize in themselves. One side of the card asks a question to spark a real conversation, while the other side uses a word and an illustration to hold up a mirror to the recipient.

"Don't just say goodbye.
Hold up a mirror."

The response caught me off guard. People weren't just giving the cards away; they were keeping them. They were framing them, or pulling them out to read on difficult days. It happened at birthdays, team offsites, and even at dinner tables.

It made me realize that many of us are starved for reflection. We move fast and perform well, but we rarely stop to ask: Who am I becoming? What do the people around me see that I’m missing?

Go Deeper.sg is my way of slowing things down. Every design is original and every question is intentional. There is no filler here.

I’m Eddy. By day, I’m a Cloud Architect and AI Specialist helping teams automate the complex so they can focus on what matters. On nights and weekends, I make things meant to last longer than a single moment.

If one of these cards helps someone finally say what they’ve been holding back, then it has done exactly what I hoped it would.
